STARWARS 2010 VINTAGE WAVE 2

Vintage 2010 Series 02: Case of 12 should include the following figures:

1x Bespin Luke: Clad in his brown Bespin fatigues, Luke Skywalker is equipped with lightsaber and blaster & holster. Having reached a crucial point in his training, Luke Skywalker was prompted by the ghostly Obi-Wan to seek out the ancient Yoda. As the training slowly progressed, the exhausted, skeptical Skywalker was astounded to witness the feats made capable by Yoda’s ponderous mastery of the Force. However, Luke’s attachment to his friends created a problematic, ultimately unconquerable problem, prompting him, against Yoda’s strident advice, to hastily leave Dagobah for the Cloud City of Bespin where Skywalker suffered a demoralizing defeat at the hands of Darth Vader.

1x Boba Fett: Clad in his battered Mandalorian armor, Boba Fett is outfitted with jetpack and fabric cape, and is equipped with a blaster pistol. Conceived during the Clone Wars in the mysterious cloning facility on Kamino, Boba inherited from his “father”, the legendary Jango Fett, his blaster-deflecting, lightsaber-resistant Mandalorian armor. Boba Fett was among the bounty hunters summoned by Darth Vader for the task of tracking the Millennium Falcon. Having fulfilled this mission, tracking the Falcon to Cloud City, Fett was given custody of the carbonite-frozen Han Solo, enabling the bounty hunter to collect the lofty bounty placed on the smuggler by Jabba the Hutt.

1x Darth Vader (Foil): Clad in his grim black regalia with distinctive skull-face helmet, Darth Vader is outfitted with cloth skirt and cape, and is equipped with his red lightsaber. Sustained by a mechanized life support system and prosthetics, the battered and disfigured Sith Lord Darth Vader is both the apprentice and enforcer of Emperor Palpatine, however, his Imperial caseload is compromised by his desire to capture and recruit his offspring Luke Skywalker. Initially caught off-guard by Luke’s willing surrender to the Imperials as a gesture intended to prompt the redemption of Anakin Skywalker, Vader duels against his son while the cackling Palpatine eagerly looks on.

1x Hoth Hangar Han Solo (Foil): Clad in his standard attire along with a heavy, fur-collared overcoat, Han Solo is equipped with welder devise and welder-mask. Following the Battle of Yavin, Han Solo and Chewbacca elected to remain in the company of the Rebel Alliance at the Echo Base installation on Hoth. In the course of reconnaissance, Solo attacked and inadvertently initiated the self-destruction of an Imperial Probe Droid, and later rescued the Wampa-ravaged Luke Skywalker. Intending to leave the Rebellion to preempt Jabba’s bounty hunters, Han Solo works feverishly alongside the cantankerous Chewbacca to apply necessary repairs to the chronically worse-for-the-wear Millennium Falcon.

1x Anakin Skywalker: The black-clad Anakin Skywalker is outfitted with a brown fabric robe, and is equipped with a blue lightsaber. Assisting Palpatine in the latter’s defeat of Mace Windu, the corrupted Anakin Skywalker officially swore his allegiance to his Sith mentor. He viciously ransacked the Jedi temple before traveling to Mustafar to slaughter the hapless Separatist leaders, where he was confronted by a heart-broken Padme and an outraged Obi-Wan, the latter of whom faced the corrupted Skywalker in a final calamitous duel.

1x Darth Sidious: Outfitted with a fabric hooded robe, the black-clad Darth Sidious is equipped with a red lightsaber, and features a clip-on Force lightning accessory. Initially operating through respective apprentices Darth Maul and Darth Tyranus, Darth Sidious initiated and instigated the Clone Wars as a means of establishing the staging grounds for the Galactic Empire. Having defeated Mace Windu, Sidious faced final opposition in the form of the diminutive Jedi Master Yoda, and despite the latter’s immense prowess Sidious emerged victoriously and successfully drove the very last of the besieged Jedi Order into hiding.

1x Obi-Wan Kenobi: Obi-Wan Kenobi is clad in a dark brown fabric hooded robe, and is equipped with a blue lightsaber. Serving as mentor to Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi was a High Jedi General. In the closing stages of the Clone Wars Obi-Wan succeeded in killing General Grievous, only to be set upon his own Clone Troopers in cadence with Palpatine’s implementation of Order 66. Narrowly avoiding the massacre of the Jedi Order, Obi-Wan briefly regrouped with Yoda, and thereafter was forced to battle against the corrupted Anakin on the planet of Mustafar.

1x General Grievous with Cape: The four-armed General Grievous is equipped with a red fabric cloak complete with storage slots for his trophy lightsabers, and is equipped with four plundered lightsabers. Harvested from among the horrific wreckage of a staged shuttle accident, General Grievous is a cyborg composed of a duranium alloy body with synthskin-bagged vital organs and LX-44 robotic legs. Designated the Supreme General of the Droid Army, Grievous, disgusted by his new body, exacts his brutal vengeance by slaughtering members of the Jedi Order and collecting his victims’ lightsabers as trophies.

1x Stormtrooper: The Stormtrooper is clad in modified armor complete with pauldron and backpack, and is equipped with a blaster pistol. The Stormtroopers were carryovers from the Clone Troopers generated a decade earlier from the harvested genetic materials of bounty hunter Jango Fett. Enforcing the will of Emperor Palpatine, most Stormtroopers were outfitted with the E-11 blaster rifle, as well as armor with built-in comlinks and varying protection against toxins and hostile environments.

1x Clone Trooper: Clad in unmarked Phase II armor, the Clone Trooper is equipped with a blaster pistol. Clone Troopers began as built-in soldiers, generated from the harvested genetic materials of renowned bounty hunter Jango Fett, installed to reinforce the Jedi warriors against the Battle Droid minions. However, near the closing stages of the Clone Wars, with the Clone Troopers emplaced among the ranks of Jedi Generals, Palpatine’s implementation of Order 66 caused the Clone Troopers to turn against their Jedi commanders, slaughtering them in the midst of battle.

1x Magna Guard (Foil): A skeletal figure with baleful red eyes, the MagnaGuard is outfitted with a grey fabric cloak wrap, and is equipped with electro staff accessory. Manufactured by Holowan Mechanicals, the MagnaGuard was an advanced Battle Droid variant utilized by the Confederacy. At the behest of Count Dooku, MagnaGuards were established as the personal bodyguards of General Grievous. Skilled, dexterous fighters, MagnaGuards were capable of inflicting great damage or even death with their lightsaber-resistant electrostaffs.

1x Commander Cody (Foil): Commander Cody is clad in modified armor with weatherworn, distinctive yellow markings, and is equipped with a heavy blaster rifle. Serving as second-in-command to General Obi-Wan Kenobi, Cody was a diligent and exacting soldier, his efficiency catching the attentions of Obi-Wan with whom Cody formed an impromptu friendship, although ultimately, upon the implementation of Order 66, Cody was forced to initiate an attack on the unsuspecting Kenobi.
